Hatha Yoga at Source of Light, May 2011
I returned to this gorgeous venue to teach Hatha Yoga, in a week of uncharacteristically cold and wet weather. Despite his best efforts, Richard could not shift those rain clouds!
The inclement weather did not allow for outdoor yoga practice so we fully enjoyed our yoga sessions in the cosiness of the Lake View Room, alongside the woodburner. The food and the company more than made up for the lack of sunshine.
There are a lot of positive things to say about the Yoga Holiday at Source of Light with Ginny Haswell that I went on in May 2011. Firstly the venue was stunning. The food was incredible: all locally sourced and vegan/vegetarian, it showcased Richard’s skill in producing both raw and cooked delicacies. The yoga classes themselves were suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis and included Hatha and Yin work on a number of levels. Should the opportunity to go again present itself, I for one would leap at the chance – I loved it! – Jane, Hove.
Astanga Vinyasa Yoga at Source of Light, July 2011
Back again in the loving hands of our hosts Richard and Betty with most of the students from last year’s July holiday. It was wonderful to be with and teach so many familiar faces. This year I introduced them all to Yin Yoga during the evening sessions; a great compliment to the morning Astanga. Another special week filled with friendship and laughter, thank you to all of you.
